LUKAS Gilding Milk is a white acrylate-based emulsion designed for gold leaf application. It dries clear and waterproof, and can be diluted with water for easier use. Tools should be cleaned immediately with water after use. This product is simpler to apply than LUKAS Gold Leaf Mixture 3h and is intended for interior applications only.

For best results, apply a thin, even coat and allow approximately 15 minutes drying time before applying gold leaf. Use a starter brush to place the leaf, then smooth gently with a soft brush. A smooth substrate produces a more attractive, shiny finish, while absorbent surfaces should be primed with shellac solution. When working with silver, bronze, or similar metals, a final shellac coat is recommended to prevent tarnishing and discolouration.
