The 1862 Oil collection draws upon a heritage of traditional manufacture: unadulterated, high-quality artist pigments are carefully blended with purified linseed and sunflower oils, and finished with a small percentage (0.5-1.5 %) of bleached beeswax to enrich film flexibility.

The result is a paint with intense colour purity, uniformly consistent handling and reliable drying times (typically 2-4 days in a thin brush stroke) without cracking.

With up to 80 shades available – more than half of them single-pigment formulations – the series supports clean mixing and luminous results.
