LUKAS Crystal Gel is a clear, high-gloss drying gel that creates relief-like, transparent textures. Made from a premium acrylic polymer with excellent lightfastness, it is ideal for a variety of uses, especially collage. When mixed with acrylic paints, it produces highly transparent, glossy glaze effects. The gel dries waterproof and its drying time varies with layer thickness. For thicker applications, multiple layers are recommended, allowing each to dry fully between coats. It can also be combined with materials such as sand, glitter, glass beads, and pigments.

Structure pastes and gels like this offer exciting possibilities to build complex textures. Most can be mixed with or painted over using acrylic paints, except metallic textured pastes, which come pre-tinted for special effects.
