As one of the first manufacturers of artists’ colors on the European continent, in 1964 the company Dr. Fr. Schoenfeld offered an acrylic color to satisfy the demand from artists for a modern, quick drying artist color: LUKAS CRYL.

The resulting professional range among LUKAS Acrylic colors LUKAS CRYL pastos fulfils even the highest expectations. A particularly wide color spectrum of 70 brilliant shades, including traditional cobalt and cadmium. The character of the Heavy Body LUKAS CRYL PASTOS is due to the very high solids content of approximately 70%. The short and buttery applied color dries full-bodied. By using high-quality acrylate, a pure acrylate dispersion, any cracking is avoided and ensures high adhesion. The LUKAS CRYL PASTOS range shows its special strength in palette knife techniques or in other, thick layer works. The paint is also water dilutable and suitable for thinnest glazes. The quick drying Artists’ Acrylic color dries to a satin gloss finish, water resistant and elastic, non-yellowing film.

For the professional quality acrylic colors LUKAS CRYL PASTOS, only the finest ingredients have been used to deliver an ideal composition. The most precious artist pigments, which are used exclusively pure and uncut, guarantee an extraordinary color intensity and high lightfastness. The excellent yield of LUKAS CRYL PASTOS appears by mixing it with white: only a small amount is needed to show a clear dye of the white color. The high-quality artist acrylic paints can be used on all absorbent, grease-free painting surfaces and therefore offer a variety of creative applications, for the highest quality results.
