PRODUCT DETAILS:

High opacity is the key feature of an excellent gouache color. LUKAS STUDIO GOUACHE, a fine Artists’ Gouache color in premium quality, fulfils this requirement by using the most refined pigments and a high-quality binder. The colors have excellent mixing behavior, making them ideal for color theory.

The well-balanced color spectrum of 30 brilliant shades enables any number of further color nuances. All shades have a very good to excellent lightfastness (6 to 8 on the 8-step wool scale). The gouache paints are odorless and produced on a vegetable emulsion basis. The use of selected, vegetable glues ensures the excellent flowability and uniform flow of LUKAS STUDIO GOUACHE. The color-intensive gouache paints can be applied directly from the tube or diluted with water - enabling almost all painting techniques from very opaque when applied purely to watercolors. After drying, the gouache colors can be redissolved with water.

For subsequent image correction, dry areas of colors can easily be painted over. The colors dry to a satin matt finish and are resistant to smudge and eraser - ideal for sketching after priming. Suitable for all types of absorbent surfaces, like paper, cardboard, canvas, textile, wood, plastic, glass, ceramics, oil-free modelling pastes etc. Gouache paints are not only versatile, but they also impress in regards to their application: Whether for spontaneous designs and improvisations, for artistic final works, for decorative areas or for use in school and training.
